This customer needed a cost-effective long-term solution for their downtown Milwaukee EPDM roof, a luxurious venue with condos on the upper levels. The project was a big undertaking with multiple skilled trades on site, all working together to complete everything, from painting, roofing, and masonry, all downtown and eight stories in the air. To replace a roof like this would have been close to 150% of the normal cost of a typical roof because of the height, size, and location.
After we thoroughly inspected the roof, we determined that the roof qualified to be repaired and restored. We made the necessary repairs, reinforced all the weak points, then completed the roof restoration with a two-coat application of silicone. This restoration did include some challenging areas to get to where we had to connect to our safety lines. The restoration ended up being about 1/3rd the cost of a replacement. We saved this customer over $100,000
