Special Project Circumstances:
This was a large manufacturing facility with multiple roofs. There is a lot of equipment on the roof that we had to get underneath and work around along with a constant flow of wood fibers being leaked onto the roof.
Condition/Problem:
The roof was aged with multiple leaks on equipment, materials, and offices throughout the entire building. The gutters were filled with wood fibers and basically useless. There were burn holes in the roof around the equipment, most likely due to welding and maintaining the equipment. In addition, there were piles of dirt and wood fibers that collected on the roof that needed to be removed.
Solution:
Clean the roof, make repairs, then installed a Silicone Roof Restoration System.
Result: A seamless, white reflective, Energy Star rated, silicone system that will last more than 20 years.
