This customer needed a cost-effective, long term solution to extend the roof's life. They also needed a roofing product that could withstand the harsh effects of grease and animal fats blowing out of their exhaust from the kitchen. After inspecting the roof with a representative from our manufacturer partner Gaco, we found the roof was a candidate for a Silicone Roof Restoration with a 20-year labor and material warranty. After some repairs to the EPDM membrane that was pulling away from the wall, we reinforced the weak points and coated the roof with silicone.

An important thing to remember is that silicone is a great product when the roof is exposed to grease and or animal fats.
