Special Project Circumstances: This location was a busy retail location that made a restoration the best solution not just because of the cost of this system, but also because of the costly disruption of business that would have come from tearing off and replacing the roof.

Condition/Problem: The two roofs were not that old and still in good enough condition where the roof qualified for a Silicone Roof Restoration System. There was leaking in some areas and moisture in the insulation.

Solution: There was not a lot of moisture in the system. We were able to install one-way vents to dry out the insulation. The roof got a real good cleaning, using a special detergent and pressure washer. We then reinforced the areas that were leaking and all other weak points. We used trowel grade silicone and polyester fabric to complete the reinforcements needed. Lastly, we applied a thick topcoat of silicone to complete the Silicone Roof Restoration System.

Result: A seamless, white reflective, Energy Star rated, silicone system that will last more than 20 years and possibly never have to be replaced again.
