Sealing With Cold Liquid Applied Silicon

Project Details: This Milwaukee area business purchased a brand new coffee roaster that needed an exhaust vent to be put through the roof. The company contacted a local HVAC company to create the penetration in the roof and run the exhaust pipe though that penetration. It was up to us to come in and make the new penetration watertight. We sealed it with our cold liquid applied silicon to the base of the penetration and about 12” up the shaft.

Benefits: Most flashing systems and roof cements will start to break down after three years due to UV rays, chemicals/grease from exhaust, and weatherization. Our cold liquid applied silicon actually reflects the UV rays, doesn’t breakdown from the grease and chemicals, and stands up to weatherization, lasting at least 20 years
